Rural Area and agriculture are interrelated like two parts of the same coin. Subsistence form of agriculture is common in Nepal. More than two-thirds populations in Nepal reside in the rural area and most of them depend on agriculture. This paper analyzes agricultural development in terms of policy and implementation in Nepal.
Here we have utilized renewable technology like solar panels to produce power. For this process, we need a power supply.
After that, the processor can decide whether to water or not. The raw data collected from the sensors will be used to determine if the soil is dry by comparing it to a pre-set value set in the controller. The temperature and humidity sensor will be used to collect the air humidity and air temperature while the soil moisture sensor will be used to measure the water content of the soil. Here we used Nodemcu esp8266 as a controller unit and different sensors. To ensure irrigation occurs when the water is required by the plant, the designed system supplies only that amount of water to the plant as the plant needs. In this project, the smart irrigation control technology is based on everyday climate criteria and the actual water need of the plant.
The use of renewable technology will help farmers to change the agriculture industry because it will reduce farmers' efforts for agricultural purposes. The use of traditional techniques to monitor agricultural fields needs a lot of manpower as well as time. The use of technology in the agriculture sector can play a significant role in accelerating and making agricultural manufacturing available. These properties can be controlled by giving appropriate treatment to the crops. Agriculture development depends on several factors such as irrigation, pests, diseases, and soil quality. Agriculture is one of the main sources of income in Bangladesh.
